£9,000*. Yes you read that right. NINE ACTUAL THOUSAND POUNDS. 🍻

That's an absolutely staggering amount of money to have raised for the pool and playground.

We knew we’d had a good weekend. We didn’t quite expect it to be this good though!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along on Friday, Saturday afternoon or Saturday night, bought tickets, food and b**r, sponsored us, supplied b**r, played music, rolled a barrel (or twenty), volunteered, helped set up, serve, clear up and all the other jobs that happen before, during and after the weekend.

And thank you to everyone who shared posts, persuaded friends to come, or supported the festival in any other way.

£9,000. What an absolutely brilliant result for the pool and playground.

Are we ready to do it all again next year??? Yes of course we are!!

Thank you from all* the team behind the b**r festival for making this another great year!! It really does take huge amounts of work to make this happen (we know it might not look like it!) and then even more work to clean up afterwards.

Congratulations to our very own John Endean for winning the roll a barrel on Saturday night - and donating his £25 prize money back to the pool, to Ronald Wilson for winning Malcolm Beaty 's side comp and donating his £55 prize money back to the pool, and to Jack who won on Saturday afternoon, but declined to donate his ice cream and ate it instead. And thank you to everyone who sponsored, came, drank, danced and laughed ♥️

We are now all lying down in darkened rooms - and not just because of the hangovers. See you all next year???
