Another fabulous night at the hall. Around 40 people came to enjoy the poetry of Julie Carter with her show The Dreamtime Fellrunner.

This was followed by reflective time to ponder times where you feel absorbed in something, plus places where you feel nurtured.

Thank you to Highlights Rural Touring Scheme, plus the village hall helpers for enabling our community to enjoy such amazing performances.

The Pickleball and Badminton coaching may have finished but the hall is still available to book.

Lovely testimonial just received:

I recently attended the Pickleball coaching sessions held at Penruddock Village Hall. We were warmly welcomed by Gavin and Cesca. After a fun warm up session, basic rules and techniques explained, we were off! Everyone had an equal chance to play and received plenty of encouragement. By the end of the first session, we all had the hang of it and were enjoying ourselves.

Having finished the three week course, everyone agreed that they had thoroughly enjoyed themselves, were pleased with their progress and the introduction to a new sport and new skills. I'm sure many will continue to play Pickleball, I know I will.

Gavin and Cesca were brilliant, not just as coaches, but lovely people, genuinely interested in people and ensuring you feel relaxed and included no matter your ability. Thank you for the great opportunity to have lots of fun, improve my Pickleball and make new friends.
