📸 From photographing royalty to supporting lives in Cumbria.

The photographer behind iconic portraits of Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth II and many of the world's most recognisable faces is helping raise funds for a local cause close to home.

This October, John Swannell is launching a limited edition 2027 calendar featuring 12 stunning landscape photographs from around the world, with all proceeds supporting Lakeland Autistic Charity.

Now based in Askham, John has chosen to support the charity he founded with his wife, Marianne. The charity provides a beautiful home in the Eden Valley, enabling adults with additional learning needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within a supportive community.

Featuring some of John's favourite landscape images, from the Lake District and Isle of Skye to Bhutan, South Africa and Machu Picchu, this special calendar is limited to just 250 copies.

This afternoon the guys cook Red Peper and broccoli frittata. The guys shop alongside coaches, finding the best value options. Once back we washed our hands, put our aprons on and started.

Simon helped teach us new cutting skills, and how to make new dishes. This was soo good and yummy!
