National Volunteering Week

Penrith Linking Lives is a befriending service offered to our community by the network of Churches Together in Penrith.
This service is open to people of all ages and nationalities. It is important to stress the service is offered to people whether or not they are connected to a church.

However, we desperately need more volunteers
Could you give up to one hour a week (with flexibility of timing) to meet someone who would enjoy the chance to have a good chat? This is usually (and is most often requested) at someone’s home as many are elderly and some are housebound, but could involve meeting in a café in town.
