Delighted to be represented at this fantastic family event today ๐Ÿฅณ

The Great Get Together is a UK wide celebration of community connections and the wonderful organisations that work so hard to bring people together in their communities - this event in Danderhall will showcase some of the fantastic groups in Midlothian.

Come along to hear about the work that we do for our local community here at Penicuik Storehouse, and to hear about our volunteer opportunities.

Penicuik Storehouse wouldn't exist without our incredible volunteers, who give up their time to help out and give back to the community. Even if it's just for a few hours here and there, every minute you can spare to volunteer makes such a huge difference to what we can achieve.

There are so many reasons to become a volunteer:

Well what turnout! Such incredible efforts put into all the floats today and great to see so many participants in the Parade, all dressed for the occasion. Even better to see the crowds that came along to enjoy it!

It's heartwarming to see that community spirit is alive and well in Penicuik ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Now time to pop along to Penicuik in the Park while.the weather holds out! You can find us near the Bog Road entrance where we have a fab selection of treats on offer, including our famous scones.

Huge thanks to Penicuik Hunter and Lass, Penicuik Community Events, Penicuik Community Council, and everyone else who was involved in making this year's Gala Day such a success.
