Penicuik Papermaking Heritage Museum
will now open on Saturday 30th March 2024 now that our decorating and our display refreshing is complete.
We’ll be open on Saturday afternoons from 1.00 until 3.30 pm until November.
There is no admission charge but contributions to upkeep are most welcome.
Thanks to everyone who visited us in Bridge Street (next to Pen-Y-Coe Press) last year, and for all your positive feedback on Social Media. We really appreciate it!
If a group or party would like to visit outside our normal hours, we may be able to arrange a suitable time for you and your group to come.

Penicuik Open House

🫣🛎️🛎️🛎️ Are you able to volunteer to help a community event for 2 hours on a Saturday morning? 🛎️🛎️🛎️🫣

The Penicuik Saturday Open House is a community event in the Town Hall providing weekly exhibitions on local issues and monthly craft sessions with refreshments for the attendees. ☕️🎂🍰🍵
The meeting attracts all ages but is particularly useful for elderly people who may be isolated at home. 🤗
Volunteers are desperately needed to ensure the survival of this event. The tasks include setting up at 9.30, serving refreshments and clearing up at 2pm. Volunteers often only work shifts within that period.
