The Penicuik Community Development Trust is marking Volunteer’s week by celebrating the remarkable contribution our volunteers make across all our initiatives.
A warm welcome awaits you at the Saturday Open House cafe and exhibition at the Cowan Institute (town hall) for tea, coffee, delicious home baking or a lovely plate of soup. Open every Saturday 10-12.30ish closed for 1pm.
This week’s exhibition is dedicated to our volunteers, featuring their stories and information about each of our initiatives. We truly couldn’t do it without them and you the community!
As Midlothian Community Action says “Volunteering continues to connect people, nurture wellbeing and strengthen communities. Volunteers are a powerful force for good.”
Volunteering changes lives, so if you would like to get involved, pick up a form on Saturday or speak to anyone of our volunteers for more information.
So, to all volunteers across the PCDT initiatives, we say a big Thank you!
