🌍 International Biodiversity Day – 22 May

Today is International Biodiversity Day, a chance to celebrate the rich variety of wildlife and habitats found across the Vale of Glamorgan 🌿

From coastal cliffs, dunes and salt marshes to woodlands, grasslands and urban green spaces, the Vale supports an incredible range of plants and animals. Biodiversity underpins healthy ecosystems, helps us adapt to climate change, and enriches our well being, but it is under increasing pressure.

Protecting and restoring nature across the Vale is a shared responsibility. By working together, communities, land managers, organisations and local authorities we can help nature recover and thrive.
