Bruce and Margaret both look forward to their weekly visits to the Living Well service, where they’ve found support, friendship and a welcoming community. 😊

After facing cancer, surgery and months confined to bed, Bruce says the Hospice gave him a reason to look beyond his illness.

🗣️ “I thought a hospice was simply a place people went to die. I couldn’t have been more wrong," Bruce shares.

A huge to the West Kent Amateur Radio Society for raising an incredible £520 for Hospice in the Weald! 📻

🟢 Dave Green and Margaret Wells from the society helped to raise this amazing amount in loving memory of Margaret's late husband, David Wells, who was supported by the Hospice in 2025.

The donation was raised by auctioning special items that belonged to David Wells, a touching tribute in his memory. Thank you, all! 👏

As part of our 'Shaping our Future' transformation programme, we are making much needed improvements to parts of the building that haven’t been updated since it was built in 1998. 🟢

👷 Work includes fitting energy efficient windows, preparations for new electrical infrastructure, progressing structural improvements and painting inside and out, led by Heathfield based contractor Coxdown Construction and specialist partners.
