Here is a brief reminder of our lovely Afternoon Tea The Good Grief Trust fundraising event, this Sunday 27th of September at the Boscombe Cliff Bowling Club, Southbourne Overcliff Drive, Woodland Ave, Boscombe, Bournemouth BH5 2DJ

Hi all,

How fabulous! My old Grange Hill chum Vinny Mann (Antonio) found these gems in his mum’s shed.

I met some people this week at an event who were die hard GH fans, and it’s fabulous to know our show still has such a positive impact on so many who remember it so fondly.

Can you spot everyone?

I’ve never seen these before, so it’s been a lovely walk down memory lane! Thanks Vinny ❤️ good times ❤️

Morning all,

So 8 years ago today we had a nostalgic visit back to our old Grange Hill school location.

This was my actual local school when I was growing up in NW London.

Kingsbury High is where we filmed the original series.

We were chatting to the BBC about our 40th anniversary 🎉

Thankyou so much to everyone who has supported our charity The Good Grief Trust over the past decade! 🎉

Here is the lovely Amanda Holden who shared a message in 2019 when we were celebrating our 3rd birthday.

Amanda has tragically experienced the loss of her baby, Theo and we thank her for helping to raise awareness of our services.

When we met Amanda, The Good Grief Trust was organising fundraising events for our Grange Hill 40th Anniversary Celebrations as you know Linda Magistris Obe played Susi McMahon.

Grange Hill was where she first met Graham Theakston, a young director who 30 years later became her partner.

It was through the grief that Linda experienced after Graham’s death in 2014 that she established the Charity.

In the recent Sausage On A Fork podcast I chatted to Neil about all things Grange Hill, and we talked about our 10th Anniversary news at The Good Grief Trust

We would love for our all to join us next month for a special evening of celebration to mark a decade of supporting bereaved people.

All are welcome! 🧡

Here are the details;

We would love to invite you to join us on September 9th, at Westminster Abbey for our Good Grief Trust 10th Anniversary Event, as we have a few spaces left in this beautiful, iconic venue in the heart of London.

This is a landmark event for our charity will be a special evening of reflection, celebration and togetherness - all are welcome 🧡☂️

The evening will include:

5:00pm – Evensong Service in Westminster Abbey

6:00pm–8:00pm – Celebratory Reception in the iconic Poets' Corner, with drinks, canapés and dessert.

Tickets: £65 per person
