The speaker for our March meeting was Graham Booth from Paddle West who showed us how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator in the event of an emergency. The talk was enjoyed by all and some of the ladies had a go at performing CPR on some dummies. We now feel more confident about knowing what to do in the event of anemergency but hopefully we will not need it.

The competition was a water scene.

It was decided at our meeting that we would celebrate the 75th anniversary of Hundleton W.I with an afternoon tea which will be held later in the month.

The speaker for our February meeting was Michelle Morris who gave a very interesting talk on the role of the ombudsman and receiving the Royal Warrant and being invited to and attending Queen Elizabeth's funeral.

***** LADIES LOOKING TO MEET NEW PEOPLE, PLEASE READ BELOW. *****

Hundleton W. I. hold their meetings on the 1st Tuesday of each month, except for August, either at Gilead Hall or Hundleton Church Hall. We have a varied selection of speakers this year. If anyone is interested in joining, or giving us a go to see what it's like, our programme (shown in the picture) shows all of the details of when and where we meet and the speakers.
You can come along for three meetings after which we ask you to join. We are a small and friendly group.
Our next meeting is at Gilead Hall at 2pm. The speaker is Michelle Morris who woll give us a talk on 'What is an Ombudsman'.

A lovely time was had by all at our annual dinner at the Coach House Hotel on 16th January.

A bouquet of flowers was presented to our longest serving member, Edna Merriman.

The competition cup was presented to Jan Whitehead. 2nd was Marilyn Williams, 3rd Sheila Evans and 4th Margaret Davies. Well done ladies.

The raffle winners were 1st Pauline Charlett and 2nd Edna Merriman.

Our first meeting of the year was held at Gilead Hall on 6th January. The speaker was Trish Power who gave a very interesting talk on Women's Crimes and Punishment through the ages.
The competition was a crime related item.

The speaker was Mr John Manchester who gave a talk about chocolate and gave us different types of chocolates and truffles to taste..

Our first meeting after the summer break was held at Gilead on 2nd September.
The speaker was our member Pauline Charlett who showed us how to make a Christmas money wallet, a christmas card and an envelope.
The competition was a homemade christmas card.
