Full on day today at the East Grinstead PCaSO and East Grinstead Lions Club PSA blood testing event where we are checking over a 1000 guys for prostate cancer.

At the De La Warr in Bexhill yesterday, we took part in Live Well:Age Well for the over 55’s. We shifted a lot of literature and I am grateful to all those that came to see us & chat. Great thanks to Geoff Smith from PCaSO too for assisting me. A very worthwhile event.

Yesterday saw a record 1206 getting PSA blood tested for prostate cancer at the Worthing Lions Charmandean Centre.
Many thanks to the 12 phlebotomists and all the PCaSO and Worthing Lions volunteers running a very busy day so successfully!
Note that possibly nearly 100 guys might be getting follow up emails advising they contact their GPs with raised PSA blood levels requiring further investigation.
