We've had another busy day here at Doon Valley Railway. Summer has been fantastic for getting visitors in and on the trains. We are hurtling towards the end of running season though - our last Sunday open day is Sunday 27th of September.
So if you're thinking of joining us once more, or you've not made it over yet this year, make sure to clear a Sunday between now and then for a fantastic day out with us!
Remaining open day dates are
August 30th, September 6th and Sunday 27th

We absolutely loved having the Dunaskin Doon Band join us for our Forces Day earlier this year! Were you lucky enough to be with us for this special open day too?
We're open again this Sunday, though unfortunately no band this time, if you're looking for somewhere to head out and explore!

Our volunteers are always working hard to make sure our open days run smoothly and there's lots for you to enjoy when you visit.
If you're thinking of joining us this Sunday, we'll have the addition of some brilliant displays from the Rescue Services to explore, as well as all our usual fantastic train runnings and displays.

We're open today; join us in the Cafe, on the trains and in the Museum!
If you can't join us today, keep your eyes peeled for our Rescue Services Day on the 16th of August, where we'll be joined by a surprising range of rescue services to talk about what they do, alongside our usual offering of train rides, fantastic coffee shop goodies and the museum!
