NiddFest Literary Festival

NiddFest Literary Festival NiddFest is a celebration of nature in writing for adults and children. Come to our launch event, 19th July 2014 with the poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy.

NiddFest is a new festival celebrating nature in writing, with talks and events for all the family. The inaugural event will take place in July 2014, with the first full festival to take place 24-26 July 2015. Set in the stunning environment of Upper Nidderdale, in the Yorkshire Dales, NiddFest 2015 will offer a weekend of talks by some of the UK’s leading nature writers. The talks will be linked

to events in the dale. For instance, a morning butterfly talk will be followed by a butterfly safari in our wildflower meadows. A full line up of speakers will be announced later in the year. The NiddFest committee is looking for volunteers to help organise NiddFest 2015. If you are interested, please leave us your details below and we will be in touch.
