DOG WORLD - WHAT WE DO
A unique concept. Sales from donated items in our main shop help fund, subsidise and organise professional dog services for the local community.
OUR MAIN SERVICES.
TRAINING BEHAVIOUR & WELLBEING
We pay for a professional trainer to be on site every Wednesday, all day, and then search suitable dogs to see her for free. 1 on 1 sessions. Requires booking. Out of hours / or home visits available @ £28 per session. We aim to try improve dogs lives each and every way we can.

PUPPY PLAY TIME
Every Saturday at 1.30pm. Outside weather permitting, inside when not.
Does not require booking. Newbies please announce yourself on arrival for a quick assessment and introduction.
GROOMING HELP
Most Wednesday afternoons from 1pm till 4pm. We specialise in...
1. If you would like to be more involved in grooming your own dog but could do with some help to have more confidence in some aspects of it. Our lady groomer can demonstrate techniques on your own dog to help build your confidence.
2. Your dog could benefit from some help that doesn't require a full professional groom. Tidying up the rear, hair mats, etc.
3. A free nail cut.
Doesn't require booking. Another free service.
MICROCHIPPING & UPDATING
Periodically on Saturdays, another free service, if your details require updating or you need a 1st chip, we carry out the whole process for you, and we pay the database
Fees. Doesn't require booking, look out for the next upcoming date.
DOG PHYSIOTHERAPY
Via our in-house physio therapist, Megan Stewart Rehabilitation.
This can be for elderly dogs that could use some respite or pain relief from stiff joints, or for dogs recovering from surgery.
This is subsidised to Dog World customers.
A 1st full assessment session, a report on why ailments are existing, good advice to do at home or introduce to your dogs lifestyle, is simply for a donation to our cause, you choose how much.
Other hour sessions of professional help that are usually charged at £70 per hour are reduced to only £45. Requires booking.
MOJO’S MEADOW
We have created and maintain a 1 and a half acre mature natural wildlife meadow that is completely fenced for your exclusive booking for walking wihout being disturbed by other dogs or people, a donation of around £5 - £10 for either half hour or hour. Requires booking.
VETERINARY CLARITY
This is not for treatments, or prescriptions, and we do not usually pay for vets bills.
This is for advice and understanding,
we may be able to help you better understand the options available and point you in the right direction.
DANGEROUS DOGS ACT
We can help explain the Dangerous Dogs Act in plain English and discuss how it may apply to your situation. We provide general guidance and information based on our knowledge and experience.
We do not provide legal representation or formal legal advice, but can signpost you to appropriate professional support where needed. Requires booking.
FOSTERING AND ADOPTION GUIDANCE
We can provide general information, discuss the responsibilities and process involved, and help you understand the options available. We do not arrange fostering or adoptions ourselves, but can share useful information and signpost you to appropriate organisations. Requires booking.
All other activities, including Zigy's Snack Bar, Dog & Stone Courtyard Garden Treasures, Breeze's Bootfair and special events, help raise funds to support our dog services.
