For our next meeting on 21st October, we're looking forward to seeing the lovely Jacqui again and to hear all about the mischief she's been getting up to lately in The Gambia! She'll be bringing an amazing collection of hand made bags again to help raise much needed funds for the Lisa Kent Trust.

Have you seen the latest News & Views - Papworth Everard? We have our usual (excellent!) article submitted by Jenny- with an extra plea tagged on the end from me!

If any gardening groups or groups of friends could step up to help maintain the Pendrill Court gardens, Jenny could retire! She's 87, I think she's earned it!

Back in February we had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous Judith from the hedgehog hospital within Shepreth Wildlife Park - she was one of the most inspiring speakers we have had in a long time!
With the weather being as hot as it is, and with the ground being so dry, hedgehogs cant dig for worms or get hydrated without a bit of help from us humans. Please consider leaving out some cat food and / or water in a tray for them - if you see a hedgehog out and about in daytime, it is in trouble and needs urgent help.

Please support this amazing charity as much as possible.

Ladies! We won't be having our next official meeting until September 16th - so I'm going to spend a few weeks posting some of the events and activities going on in our lovely village *unpaid advertising*.

We have our Squad meeting tonight (the committee!) ahead of our group meeting next Wednesday - Paige from Dogs Trust is going to tell us all about the ULTRA important work this FABULOUS charity does 🐾

****SMOKEY HAS BEEN REUNITED!****

Please keep your eyes open for missing SMOKEY, a gorgeous 11 month old boy from the area between Letterpress Lane, Font Drive and Southbrook Field.

You can see from the attached poster that he is a fairly fluffy, grey and white bundle of loveliness who is quite wary of people. He's a home boy, so having not seen him since Tuesday night, his family are worried about him.

It's tomorrow evening ladies - come and join us!

It's 'L' on wheels being a driving instructor! Stephen is coming to tell us the hilarious side of teaching people to drive, I've seen him and he had me in stitches. 17th June, 7:30pm at The Studio - guaranteed laughs!
