A welcoming space to learn English with weekly themes, build confidence for education and employment, and connect with others in Renfrewshire.
Beginners are fully supported, and babies/toddlers are welcome, KLAS Care will look after them during the session.

📝 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - Home Anthology 📝

Kairos Women+ are inviting short creative writing submissions from women+ with connections to Renfrewshire—whether you live here now, grew up here, work here, or have spent significant time here.

◎ Theme: 'Home' — interpreted in any way you like.

◎ Who can submit: Any woman+ (including trans and non-binary people) with a personal, family, work, or creative tie to Renfrewshire. We welcome both emerging and experienced writers. We strongly encourage submissions from racialised women+ and q***r women+.

◎ What we're looking for: Poetry (max 40 lines), flash fiction or short creative non-fiction (max 500 words). Only submit one piece per person. Work must be previously unpublished.

◎ Submissions close: 7 November 2026

◎ What will happen next: Selected pieces will be published in our Home Anthology, which will be launched in March 2027 as part of an exhibition celebrating women+'s art, writing, and heritage.
