Whether you're new to governance or a seasoned Trustee, we'll take you through everything you need to know before, during and after your AGM.

Calling all Networkers...you are invited to a BBQ and Learn on 1st July from 7.30pm at Bishopton Scout Hall.

What's in it for you: free food and chance to take part in some activities. A chance to see an example of how those activities are run so that you can deliver them to young people and material to take away to aid with programme delivery locally if you're involved.

What's in it for the Learning Team: A chance to meet you all, finding out what you need from future learning events, a change to find out if you might be able to contribute to some of the learning team's programme.

We are excited to announce that Richard Fish has been appointed as the new District Lead Volunteer for Argyll District.

Thanks to Anne Smart for the hard work put in while in the role, and for taking on a new role as the Treasurer for West Region.

What a weekend across West Region!

Our new Regional Team has spent the weekend on the road, visiting all five of our incredible districts - Argyll, Dunbartonshire, Greenock & District, Paisley & District, and Renfrewshire.

It’s been brilliant to get out, meet so many of our dedicated volunteers face to face, and hear your ideas, thoughts, and feedback. The passion and commitment across our region is truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to chat with us, your voices will shape the direction of Scouting across West Region. We can’t wait to get to work!

There is still time to sign up for the regional meet and greet sessions this week. These sessions are an opportunity for us to:

* Introduce the regional team
* Share our plans for supporting volunteers across the region
* Discuss how we can continue to grow Scouting and provide even more opportunities for our young people
* Listen to your ideas, feedback, and any support you may need

The Paisley and District session has changed location and will now be held at "Miracle Span", within Gleniffer Braes Park, which is located just off Glenfield Road, Paisley PA2 8TE. (///mixed.butter.steps)

Big News for Greenock & District! 🌟

We’re delighted to introduce Mark Gallacher and Kyle Wilson as the new District Lead Volunteers for Greenock & District Scouts! ⚜️

Mark brings a wealth of experience, energy, and passion for Scouting, and is committed to supporting our volunteers, strengthening our sections, and helping even more young people gain skills for life.

Kyle brings fantastic enthusiasm and a strong commitment to the district and wants to see it flourish and grow!

This marks an exciting new chapter, and with Mark and Kyle leading the way, Greenock and district Scouts are set to grow and thrive. 🚀

We’d also like to give a massive thank you to Martin as he prepares to step down following the handover, your dedication and service to Scouting has made a lasting impact. 💛
