Paisley wins again!

“Ken Stewart Memorial” 44th Scottish Team Lightning Chess Championship

28 teams took part on 7th May at Carnegie Conference centre in Dunfermline

Paisley as we won the competition convincingly without a single team defeat.

Our Dream team had memorable victories as well against the Edinburgh teams.

Team Captain IM Andy Muir did well to recruit child prodigy FM Frederick Waldhausen Gordon for board 1

Hopefully Frederick will play for us again in the future!

What a season for Paisley after winning the Glasgow league.

A great day had by everyone.

Frederick Gordon 2321 (1 , 8/9)

Josepth Redpath 2317 (2, 6.5/9)

Andrew Muir 2319 (3, 9/9)

Derek McCormack 1907 (4, 6/9)
