Cub Camp May 2026. Learning to light fires without matches, Making toasties & Smores, Building shelters, Blind trails, Wide games in the dark, Football at 03.00 Hrs!! Singing campfire songs with other cubs. Making Soup. Building tents. Have I missed anything?

big shout out to the Folk who completed the Big stroll and the Mighty Stride. I hope there wasn't too many blisters on the day. I hope to see all the Medals on Tuesday when the Beavers & Cubs start back. I think we need to order up some extra Hikes Away badges this year.

Most people are doing the wee wander with the Beavers & Cubs, Some hardy souls are doing the Big stroll & the Mighty stride. Who ever you support, lets make sure they know that your with them every step of the way.

We will be walking the Wee Wander on Sunday 26/04 with participating Beavers, Cubs and family members. We also have a group of adults walking the Mighty Stride on the same day. This will help us provide new and exciting opportunities for the kids

Congratulations to LJ who ran in the Paisley half Marathon to raise funds for our Beavers. Helped and supported by her own Beaver Scout. LJ will be taking part in the Glasgow kiltwalk in April along with 28 other volunteers who are raising funds for the Coats Scout Group in "Team Foxbar" Cubs & Beavers alongside Mum's & Dad's are taking part in the Wee Wander, However a few brave souls are taking part in the Big Stroll & the Mighty Stride. Please help & Support them in their endeavors by donating to their just giving page. I look forward to seeing you all participate on April 26th. Go team Foxbar. 😀

The Great chippie challenge.
The Beavers & Cubs took part in a challenge to decide which Chip shop in Paisley cooked up the Best Chips! they selected 10 chip shops to try & on a cold wet March night they wired in, sampling chips. The Winner? Enzo's from Paisley, the runner up was Larco's of Barrhead. An enqueuing Cub asked "If we go to camp can we make chips or do we have to order in"?
