This is a group page for the 15th Lylesland Scouts Group to give news and information to parents and family members and friends of the group. Our Meeting times are as follows:

Beavers 6-8 years: Monday 6.00 - 7.15pm
Cubs : 8-10 yearsMonday 7.30 - 9pm
Scouts 10-14 years: Friday 7.30 - 9.30pm
Explorers 14- 18 years: Friday 7.30 - 9:30pm

Hi all ! Now schools are back , did your kids drive you nuts over the summer Saying mom dad I’m board ? Are they looking for new things to do , activities to try ? Why not try scouting, we’ll teach them life skills and the respect for the out doors , as well as their community. Ages start from 6 -18 and are fun filled nights ! If you think this is for your son/daughter please feel free to contact us . What you got to lose they may enjoy them selfs ! Go on give scouting a go ⚜️

Good luck to Fraser and Georgia and the west region contingent, who are off to Blair Atholl Scout Jamborette, their intensive training over the last year has prepared them to work hard while having fun with the other 2000 scouts and leaders from across the world, over the next 10 days.

One of our Scouts Aaron has been selected to attend the scout world jamboree in Poland next year, this prestigious event hosts 50000 scouts worldwide, enabling them to travel, access adventurous activities, make new friendships.

Aaron is fundraising to meet his £4000 target to attend. There is a Mother’s Day raffle in the hall tonight at the end of beavers and the start of cubs, and on Friday at scouts and explorers. You have the chance to win one of 3 amazing Mother’s Day hamper. £1 for 5 tickets. (Cash)
