Congratulations to St Mirin's Scout Group who celebrated their Centenary in 2025. It was a pleasure to join them at their camp earlier this year and host a civic reception to celebrate the milestone.

What a fantastic weekend for St Mirin’s Scouts! ⚜️
We want to say a massive thank you to Renfrewshire Council and Provost Lorraine Cameron for the wonderful civic reception. It was an honour to be recognised, and we are so grateful to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it happen! 🥂
After the formalities, we tucked into a delicious spread of lasagne, curry, and mac n cheese—topped off with some amazing cheesecake! 🍝🥘🍰
The celebrations didn’t stop there! Our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Leaders stayed on for an action-packed weekend of activities and traditional campfires. 🪵🔥
We were also joined on Saturday by the Squirrels, who completely took over the centre! They had a blast hunting squirrels and firing rockets into the sky. 🚀🐿️
A huge shout-out to our incredible Leaders for putting together such a fun and exciting programme; your hard work made the weekend truly memorable. Thanks to everyone who helped out and joined us. Here’s to many more adventures! 🎒🏕️

A small stuffed toy has been left at camp by one of the beavers. I've brought it home with me, I'll bring it to hall after Easter holidays unless you want it before then. If you need it you can email me and we can arrange for you to pick it up... Teresa
