Clothed in Love Clothed in Love is a volunteer-led initiative which redistribute preloved baby and kids clothing

Clothed in Love is a volunteer-led initiative that helps families in need across Renfrewshire and beyond by redistributing pre-loved baby and kids’ clothing and essentials for children up to 7 years old. We work closely with professionals who are in contact with families, such as health visitors, midwives, nurseries, and referral organisations within the community. Clothed in Love strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. We welcome donations, and invite professionals to refer families who would benefit from our services.

Busy day at Clothed in Love. Many referral bags went out today to local children and families, each one packed with clothes, cosy pyjamas, and even a few cuddly friends (Paddington has packed his suitcase and gone off on a new adventure!). Thank you to everyone who has donated. None of this happens without you.

Our shelves are running low in a few sizes, so we would be so grateful for any of the following:

6/9 mths
9/12 mths
12/18 mths
5/6 yrs
6/7 yrs

As the weather turns colder, warm items like jumpers, joggers, pyjamas and coats in these sizes would be especially welcome.

All donations need to be clean, in good condition, and ready for a new home.

Drop-off: The Mossy Café, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10am to 2pm

We recently had a large giraffe and panda donated to us, and we are pleased to say they have both now found a new home!🦒🐼

With winter on its way, we are now looking for good condition, pre-loved children’s winter clothes in the following sizes:

Girls
6–9 months
12–18 months
18–24 months
5–6 years
6–7 years

Boys
12–18 months
18–24 months
2–3 years
3–4 years
4–5 years
5–6 years
7–8 years

We are also in need of high-chairs.

If you are having a clear out and have any of these sizes, we would be really grateful for your donations.

Please drop them off at The Mossy Café, Mossvale Community Café, on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 2pm. If possible, please label bags with the clothing size, it makes it much easier for us to sort everything and get it to the right families.

Thank you to Michelle and Thomas who braved the 100-foot-high, 1,000-foot-long charity zip line over Strathclyde Park Loch today to raise vital funds for Clothed in Love.

Well done, Alison and Kirsty, this weekend on completing such an incredible challenge for Clothed in Love!

Thank you to everyone who supported them as they took on the 131ft abseil down the side of the Port of Leith Distillery in Edinburgh. We are so grateful to everyone who donated online and offline, shared the fundraiser, and cheered the girls on. Thanks to your generosity and encouragement, we have raised over £1,500! 🎉This makes such a difference to the families we support. 🥰

In just over a week’s time, our very own Alison Hastings and Kirsty Park from Team Clothed in Love will be taking on a 131ft abseil down the side of the Port of Leith Distillery in Edinburgh to raise funds for Clothed in Love.

While we rely on generous donations of pre-loved children’s clothing and essential baby items, financial contributions are just as crucial. All money raised will go towards purchasing essential items we may not receive as donations, such as new mattresses and toiletries, and towards covering storage costs.

We are incredibly grateful for every contribution, no matter the size.
Thank you to everyone who has already donated, both online and offline. We’ll keep you updated on how the abseil goes!
