Due to illness, I have had to cancel all planned Glenburn Heritage Group Drop-in Sessions until 2024. I am currently receiving treatment in the Beatson for a form of Leukemia. When I get out I will have work to do to get my energy and fitness back for my Urban Historian walking tours. Stephen

After a false start in February, were pleased to say that the Glenburn Heritage Group will recommence on Friday 3rd March. We will meet between 1pm and 3pm every 2nd Friday though there will be a break for Easter. Planned research includes the schools and businesses of Glenburn along with continuing to record peoples memories of the housing scheme from the late 1940s onwards.

All are welcome!

Due to continuing heating issues at St George's Outreach Centre, the Heritage Group Drop-in Session planned for Friday 17th has been cancelled.
Engineers will be onsite replacing equipment in the boiler room on Friday so there will be no heating.

A reminder that the Heritage Group meets this Friday at the Outreach Centre on Nethercraigs Drive between 1 and 3pm. The George Street Church war memorial display is up and anyone is welcome to come in to view this and visit the group.

Hot Drinks and biscuits and a warm venue are ready to welcome you. All are welcome if you you want a heat and chat.

The Sillouettes of soldiers are in the grounds of Paisley St George's Causeyside St buildings.

There are only 4 meetings left for the heritage group in 2022! The next if Friday 28th October

We are now meeting every 2nd Friday in St Georges Outreach Centre on Nethercraigs Drive, and the the darker nights coming we have changed the hours to 1pm to 3pm.

The heating will be on and hot drinks are available, so if you want to talkabout your memories of living in Glenburn, have a hot drink and get a heat we would love to welcome you into the building.
