We receive many emails asking for details about our activities, including bike repairs, cycle training and bike donations 🙌

We offer FREE essential repairs at our pop up maintenance sessions, designed to keep people riding - these include brake and gear adjustments, cable replacement, puncture repairs and cycle health checks. For general servicing or where repairs require a commercial workshop, we can refer riders to one of the excellent cycle shops in Torbay! 🔧

If you are looking to donate a bike, you are welcome to drop it off to one of our maintenance sessions (‼️ please note: we don’t offer a collection service due to the cost and time involved) 🚲

Active Devon have been working closely with SWISCo and Torbay Council by visiting a range of schools to hear from young people about local play parks and re-imagining these through creative exercises.

Representing Imagine This Torbay to ensure youth voice is embedded in this work and young people remain a part of this journey into improving the state of local play parks. This has been a really great example of Partnership working. This was taken Cockington Primary School with Torbay Community Builders also present.

We have been involved in a few visits so far with many more in the pipeline. Some great ideas coming through and plans to first of all make more of these spaces fit for purpose.

🎉 Through Powered By Youth, young people shared that they wanted an easier way to discover activities, events and opportunities across Torbay.

In response, one brilliant young person - with support from Sound Communities CIC & Doorstep Arts - has been researching ways to create an app for young people to find out what’s on locally 📲

As developing a brand new app is a big and expensive project, we’re excited to be piloting the idea through the youth-led Ocean Youth Radio app 🎧
