Continuing our pledge to never cancel due to the weather, we opened as usual at 6pm.
However it became apparent at 7.30pm that the wind off the sea was getting worse and colder so in the interests of our duty of care to both bikers and our volunteers it was decided to call it a day and close up.
Thank you to everyone that came out and supported us and to our team of volunteers, lets hope for better weather next week.🤞🤞🤞

Best Wishes to Maria Costello for a Speedy recovery following her horrendous crash at the IOM TT

Maria Costello is reported to be in serious but stable condition after suffering a heavy crash during qualifying for the Sidecar TT at the 2026 Isle of Man TT. The British rider was flown to a specialist hospital in Aintree following the accident at Brandish Corner alongside passenger Shaun Parker. The session was immediately stopped after the incident. Initial reports mentioned suspected head injuries for Costello, while Parker suffered injuries to his chest, face, arms, and legs but remained conscious. Costello, who competes in both solo and sidecar categories, is one of the most respected female figures in road racing and was awarded an MBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 2009.
