If you have young people in your family, they may like to take part in Junior Sew Social at Towneley Hall, this weekend. Enjoy.

Come and take part in our Junior Sew Social Christmas Craft Workshop on Sunday 14th December, 12:30pm-2:30pm ⛄️🎄

Led by Cassie from the Sew Social Group, stitch your own felt decoration to take home. Suitable for ages 8+ accompanied by an adult.

This will be held in the Regency Rooms inside the Hall. It’s a FREE drop in session.

(Adult entry fee applies, free entry for children)

🎖️In remembrance of Captain Lawrence Kay-Shuttleworth and his brother Captain Edward Kay-Shuttleworth, sons of 1st Lord & Lady Shuttleworth of Gawthorpe Hall, both killed in 1917 during World War One.

This photo is possibly the only one of the brothers together in their military uniforms, with their wives Sibell and Selina.
