Happy Easter weekend! With the imminent purchase of the Wesley Centre, The Community Storehouse will get a much needed refurb. This seems the perfect opportunity to ask you all if you would mind taking a moment to pop a comment down in relation to the following:
Did you know Paddock wood have a foodbank?
Does our name tell you we are a foodbank?
Do you know where we are and when we are open?
Do you know where you can donate food or financial donations?
In January/February, we were part of the charity token scheme in Waitrose, sadly, we came third. The charity that came first was the goat sanctuary in Maidstone, not a local charity. Last month, the first place funding went to Nourish, a large, well known organisation with paid employees and a marketing budget. The Community Storehouse runs entirely on volunteers, there are no paid staff, we rely on the generosity of our community and support from local businesses.
Your thoughts and comments would really help us, going forward, to raise awareness and increase funds. Thank you.

We are really excited to let the town know that, following a generous donation from a private trust, The Community Storehouse are in discussions with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council to buy The Wesley Centre. We are at an advanced stage of negotiations and have reassured all current users that we would be very keen to honour their current arrangements. Indeed, we would be looking to make the Centre more available for the community. This is a fabulous opportunity for us and the community to keep this valuable asset and includes additional funds to renovate and improve the building. We will keep everyone informed of any developments as we move through the process.

On Tuesday 23 December, we welcomed 45 people who came for fruit and vegetables; we gave out 28 normal food parcels (average is about 10 - 15), and to date this December we have given out 99 extra Christmas bags, in addition to our normal food parcels..

All our 14 volunteers worked their socks off, and we had a joyous time meeting / chatting with our clients.

Jestic Giving Tree 2025! 🎄 🎁

This festive season, the Jestic team once again came together to spread some much-needed joy. Throughout December, we collected gifts for Kids Out through our Jestic Giving Tree, helping bring joy to children who might otherwise have gone without at Christmas.

We also gathered generous donations for The Community Storehouse - PW, supporting families in our local community during a time when a little extra help can make a big difference.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, your generosity helped make our 2025 Giving Tree a brilliant success!
