It plays a vital role at the heart of community life in Oxton and Channelkirk. The purpose of Oxton War Memorial Hall is to benefit the entire community through the provision of recreational facilities and/or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions or life of the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. This in turn will
enable: 1) the advancement of education, arts, heritage, culture and science, 2) the progression of citizenship, community development, civic responsibility and volunteering, and 3) the promotion of equality, diversity and social inclusion. Oxton War Memorial Hall, is a Scottish Charity, SC038442, regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
