This is Delia. She is in her 80th year and is undertaking to walk 100 miles...Incredible!

Delia was a volunteer at Cavendish - The Sue Ryder Foundation headquarters - many years ago and so wanted celebrate and remember her time spent there.

She is travelling with 'TTT' - her little bear who in his own right is well travelled. ;-) His main claim to fame is when he accompanied a trio of cyclists who rode from London to Glasgow to attend COP 26 summit in Glasgow in November 2021.

Delia's trip is a wonderful celebration of our 100 year anniversary of the birth of Sue Ryder.

You are most welcome to join us for 100th Anniversary of the birth of Sue Ryder on 2nd July at St Katharine's Retreat House, Parmoor.

The Lady Ryder of Warsaw Memorial Trust is celebrating the occasion with an afternoon garden party at St Katharine’s Parmoor when ‘The Pilgrim’ rose will be planted to mark the event and refreshments will be served.

We will be joined by representatives of the Overseas Foundations started by Sue Ryder in her lifetime, including representatives from Poland, the Czech Republic, Ireland and India.

We would be delighted if you could join us to celebrate this Centenary.

The event will start at 3pm with the planting of the rose.

We're delighted to announce some of our Centenary plans to remember Sue Ryder.

The 3rd July 2024 would have been Lady Ryder's 100th birthday. The most incredible lady who touched so many lives and whose work today still lives on across the world.

All are welcome to join us for tea and cake at St Katharine's Retreat House, Parmoor in the Lady Ryder Memorial Garden. Message us for more details.

We are also delighted that some of our friends from Raphael Ryder Cheshire Dehradun in India and Domov Sue Ryder in the Czech Republic will be joining us.
