Hurst Green Community Centre

Hurst Green Community Centre Please text 07504104084 with queries and you will get a response within 4 days. It is a charity run centre, so everyone is welcome.

Hurst Green Community Centre is located in Hurst Green behind the shops in Pollards Oaks Road. The original centre was built
by local volunteers in 1947 on another site. The current building was erected in 1976 on Council-owned land. The costs of building the Centre were covered entirely by voluntary subscribers from the Hurst Green area. Day to day running costs are covered by the fees paid by t

hose who hire the Centre. Many local groups and organisations hire the Centre on a regular basis, including:
Little Oaks Pre-School (every weekday during term time), Mighty Oaks Youth Club (every Friday evening), Dance & Exercise groups – Ballet, Street Dance, BoostFit, Badminton Club, Yoga and more. The hall may also be hired for private parties, wedding celebrations and more! It has a stage, piano, crockery, full gas central heating, fire & smoke detection units throughout, kitchen and an additional room with bar facilities (please note a licence required). If you are interested in making a booking or require additional information contact Elke Starr at [email protected] or call at 07504104084.

Please get in touch with me if you would like to take part.

Is your bike making a "clack-clack" sound? ⚙️

Don’t let skipping gears ruin your ride! Whether your chain is slipping or you’re struggling to reach that top gear, our volunteers are here to help.

At the Hurst Green Repair Shed and Cafe, we don’t just fix your bike—we show you how to do it! Come learn how to:

Index your gears for smooth shifting.
Degrease and l**e your chain like a pro.
Adjust your derailleur to keep that chain on track.

Bring your bike down on Sunday 29th March from 12.00 to 2.30pm

We are very grateful to have reached the final of the Tandridge Business Awards for best Community Provider. We would like to thank Tandridge District Council for hosting such a lovely evening.

This was an opportunity to stop and celebrate the work the team puts in to provide a diverse service to residents. We all love what we do and are excited to see what the next chapter of the Community Centre brings.

TEAL were deserving winners and we are proud to work with them.
