Sarah and Venetia need your help to keep this project going!
Oxford Maternity Clothes Library is a volunteer-run service which has been operating from Florence Park Community Centre for over 10 years, and is very well used each month. Clothes returns and kind donations keep our stock fresh, and we love helping people avoid the frustration and expense of having to buy new clothes for the short period of pregnancy/nursing.
However, the two of us are really struggling to keep the library going without some more volunteer sign-ups.
No training needed and no commitment is too small: you can help on a one-off or regular basis. We need support to pack up and pack down the library, to sort clothes, and to help borrowers find what they need. Libraries are usually one Saturday morning per month. Volunteers can borrow clothes for free!
