🌟TRANS REQUIEM TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE 🌟
We’re thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of Trans Requiem: A Pseudo-Sacred Cantata — and to finally reveal the official poster for the event.
🎟️ Tickets are available via the link in our bio!
The poster’s graphic has been thoughtfully designed by local Oxford artist Ross Baker, who shared their inspirations behind the artwork:
“The Oxford Trans community is beautiful, strong, and deserves to be celebrated and loved. When I found out about this event, I was so excited to get involved, and knew that I needed to make something wonderful as we deserve.
Wanting to properly represent the diversity and faces of our community, I referenced pictures from trans pride marches across the UK and took great joy in rendering us all in the stained-glass window — representing our community in the space where the Requiem will be performed (Somerville Chapel).
I was born in and have lived in Oxford my whole life, and have always felt welcomed and loved by my fellow members of the trans community, so it was wonderful to make this tribute for us.”
We’re so grateful to Ross for creating such a powerful and celebratory image for Trans Requiem, and for capturing the community at the heart of this project. 💜
