🎥4 successful People's Emergency Briefing screenings.
One at the UPP, three at the New Road Baptist Church.
Post screening discussions were enthusiastic and will lead to further action being taken.
Extinction Rebellion's first aim is-
"All institutions must communicate the danger we are in. We must be clear about the extreme cascading risks humanity now faces, the injustice this represents, its historic roots, and the urgent need for rapid political, social and economic change."

The government wants to throw out an 800 year old justice system. Why? Because juries often don't agree with the government on issues of conscience!
So they didn't say anything in their manifesto. And now they want to replace juries with a single judge in half of Crown Court cases.

On Monday MPs returned to Parliament. They'll be a vote on whether to keep juries as they are, in the next 7 weeks. We need MPs to vote to SAVE JURIES!
