Network of Christian Peace Organisations - NCPO Resources, witness & campaigning. UK. We campaign on issues including high military spending.

The NCPO is an ecumenical network committed to peace as central to the meaning of church community and the teachings of Jesus. We are a broad group of organisations in the Christian peace tradition committed to furthering peace and encouraging our churches to support and join the peace movement. We believe that sustainable security could be reached through redirecting the billions spent on the military and arms industry towards climate mitigation, health, welfare, housing, education and aid.

In this moment of global geopolitical conflict, many communities are experiencing pain, anger, and grief. On Friday June 26th we are facilitating a one day workshop to help community members and leaders navigate these strong emotions well, before they harden in conflict. Our facilitator and collaborator Tanya Forgan brings years of experience with somatic training and grief work and will be teaching us practical tools to navigate current social tensions without overwhelm or burnout.
