Join LCWO at the West Oxford Community Centre TOMORROW, 21 Nov, at our monthly Home Energy Information Stall, held at 4pm alongside the Oxford City Larder. Save the following dates to join us this winter: 19 Dec and 23 Jan in the new year.

Apple Pressing Day - Saturday 11 October 2-5pm at Kidlington Methodist Church, Oxford Road (OX5 2BP)

Join Kidlington Abundance for a hands-on afternoon celebrating the abundance of the natural world! Bring along your surplus apples and pears to chop, press, and bottle into delicious fruit juice. Fruit does not need to be perfect - windfalls are absolutely fine!

No fruit? No problem! Come along anyway - everyone is welcome to join in the fun, and everyone takes home some juice.

We’re looking forward to seeing those who are able to attend our Earth Day celebration tomorrow morning (Saturday 26th April 10-12pm)!

As part of the event, we’ll be doing a soft launch of our new hireable electric cargo bike initiative.

Come along to try out an electric cargo bike—discover how easy they are to use, how much they can carry, and how they could help make your local journeys greener and more convenient. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and register your interest as a user, volunteer, or both!

Celebrate Earth Day 2025 with Low Carbon West Oxford

Join us on Saturday 26 April 2025, from 10:30am to 12.30pm at the West Oxford Community Centre for a lively and inspiring community event to mark Earth Day and launch our new hireable Electric Cargo Bike. This free family-friendly morning will be packed with fun and practical ways to live more sustainably, all in the spirit of this year's theme: Our Power, Our Planet. Enjoy cargo bike demos, eco-stalls and giveaways, grow-your-own advice and a local nature walk. Everyone's welcome - bring your friends, neighbours and family along!
