🎄Every December, Oxford Food Hub proudly supports the Oxford Christmas Lunch, hosted at The King's Centre on December 25th. Last Christmas, over 600 people were served a free three course meal made from food that would have otherwise gone to waste.

🍗This free sit-down meal is open to anyone in Oxfordshire who would like to attend, including refugees, the elderly, the homeless, those facing mental health challenges, individuals in food poverty, and anyone who simply wants to share the joy of Christmas with others. Transport is provided for those who need it.

🧑‍🎄Volunteers are needed in order for this magnificent day to go ahead! Anybody with a D1 licence to drive minibuses, as well as car drivers to help transport guests to and from the event would be particularly helpful. From the organiser: Tomorrow, we are taking a petition to Oxford City Council, asking them to approve in principle the idea of building a playground in the city centre.
So far, we secured enough signatures to take a formal debate. YAY for local democracy! For the best chance of success we need more signatures. If you've signed, thank you!
