When we celebrate our differences, anything is possible 🩡

A Rotaract club in South Carolina, USA, brings together members with intellectual disabilities, teaming up with sponsors and mentors to help everyone grow as leaders through service.

From research trips to aquariums to singing, fundraising, and reciting the Four-Way Test, this club is all about building connections and making a positive impact in their community.

As club member Megan Marrero puts it, β€œI like to help my community.”

Don’t forget! This week you can donate to your local food bank in Morrisons stores πŸ’š

If you’re able, add some essential items to their donation baskets to help us provide emergency food parcels to people in your local area.

β€œAnyone can be struck by disaster. Using our good fortune to support others is a no-brainer to me.” πŸ’›

When Vincent Menne first encountered Rotary at a Christmas market, he had no idea it would lead him to disaster relief work.

Now a member of the Rotaract Club of Bern, Vincent serves on the ShelterBox Switzerland board, connecting Rotaractors with the nonprofit and sharing its mission: bringing emergency shelter to families after disaster.

Vincent says Rotary members worldwide are often the first point of contact after disasters, helping communities quickly assess needs and mobilize support.
