🎉 30 years ago today, Asylum Welcome became a registered charity.

In that time, thousands of people have come through our doors.

Adults, families and unaccompanied children have arrived in Oxfordshire, often at some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

And for 30 years, there have been people here to welcome them: specialist advice staff and volunteers from all walks of life sitting down with people, listening, helping them find their feet and making them feel welcome. People giving their time, opening their homes, raising money, donating – or simply showing that they care.

So on our 30th birthday, we want to say thank you to every person who has been part of that story. Here’s to keeping that welcome going - for as long as we are needed. 💙

People seeking safety in the UK can face complex systems, severe financial hardship and isolation. Asylum Welcome works alongside people as they rebuild their lives: helping them access advice, healthcare, education, housing and community support.
