Join us in our mission to save the world's most biodiverse savanna. Cerrado Guardians International is an international wildlife conservation charity. We work closely with conservation partners in 3 continents and within 23 Brazilian states to save the Cerrado, together. Dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the Cerrado biome in Brazil, one of the most biodiverse and threatened ecosystems in the world. We aim to empower local communities and indigenous peoples to protect their natural heritage through sustainable practices and conservation efforts. Supported Causes: CGI focuses on environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, quilombola community engagement, and sustainable development. Our work contributes directly to climate change mitigation by preserving this critical ecosystem. Goals and Objectives: Our primary goals include restoring degraded areas of the Cerrado, supporting indigenous land rights, and promoting sustainable livelihoods for local communities. We have a strategic plan in place to achieve these goals through partnerships, community engagement, and targeted conservation projects.
