A huge thank you to our friends at Volunteer Services who recently worked alongside our charity to provide a range of dementia friendly games and boredom busting activities for patients being treated on F Ward at the Horton General Hospital.

We’re sharing a great big thank you with the Morrison’s Foundation today 🎉

Their kind donation has funded a new medical treadmill for Cardiac Rehabilitation at the Horton General.

Megan from our charity explains: “The rehab team support many patients from across the Banbury area who have severe heart conditions. Having the right kit for clinically monitored exercise is really important as it helps to improve the heart function and stamina and is a key part of patient recovery plans. The Horton team are so thrilled with this new equipment and we’d all like to say a very big thank you to the Morrison’s Foundation for this very kind support.”

Our special thanks also to Denise, who had a heart attack last year, for allowing us to show the kit in action.
