📌 Injuries, violence, self-harm, maternal conditions, and drowning remain leading causes of death among young people.

📌 Half of all adult mental health disorders begin before age 18, yet many cases go unnoticed and untreated.

📌 Early substance use increases the risk of addiction and long-term health challenges.

📌 In 2021, the global birth rate among girls aged 15–19 years was 42 births per 1,000 girls.
