✨ Successful Rescue Operation *Sunitha’s Story ✨

In March 2026, a courageous young woman we are calling Sunitha was rescued from a situation of exploitation through a joint operation by Odanadi, the Special Juvenile Protection Unit and local police authorities.

Originally from Bangladesh, Sunitha had been deceived and taken far from safety. For weeks, she endured daily abuse and trauma while being unlawfully confined and s*xually exploited.

But her story did not end there.

After a long surveillance effort, teams successfully executed her rescue.

Today, Sunitha is SAFE.

She is now receiving protection, counselling, rehabilitation support and compassionate care as she begins her journey towards healing and recovery.

Every rescue reminds us why this work matters. Because every survivor deserves the possibility of a new beginning.

This is why we continue to come together, to protect vulnerable women and children, support survivors and stand against exploitation in ALL its forms.

YOGA IN A YURT? HOW COOL!

London yogis… join Jonny and Serhan for a relaxing and unwinding 2 hour practice this Saturday 23rd May, at what promises to be a truly grounding yoga session, followed by a gorgeous guided meditation 🙏🏼

Completely donation based, all profits will go towards construction of the desperately needed girls safe house at .seva.samsthe.

A life changing space for survivors of human trafficking and s*xual assault, where they can receive rehabilitation, build physical and mental strength and restore a sense of peace to their lives.

Here’s another wonderful studio joining us in our fight against human trafficking 🙏🏼
with.judy will be holding space on Tuesday the 26th May for a grounding and nourishing slow flow class 🌀

All proceeds will go towards the girls new safe house, which is currently under construction but progress has been slow and intermittent due to ongoing funding shortages.

The work is urgently needed so if you are in or around Manchester please consider joining in and making a donation, we truly appreciate it.

This is their second fundraiser this year, helping raise urgent funds for Odanadi’s new building, expanding services and creating more space for survivors of human trafficking and s*xual violence.

Friend of YST is hosting another beautiful FULL DAY retreat on Sunday 17th May.

This will be a special day specifically for teachers and therapists. A day filled with yoga, meditation, sound, creativity and total wellbeing… all in support of YST 🙏🏼
Funds raised will go to .seva.samsthe and their incredible work in and around Mysore, South India, preventing human trafficking and supporting those in vulnerable communities.

118 girls went missing in Mysuru, India in 2025 (and that’s just the reported ones) 43 are still untraced.
Data shared by Home Minister G Parameshwara revealed it’s the highest number of missing girls in the last three years.

KV Stanley co-founder of .seva.samsthe said this data raises several questions,
“Every untraced child case should be treated as child trafficking. Police failure is the reason for the growing number of girls missing”
He urged “Every year, the number of missing girl cases is on the rise. We need to ask tough questions to the government and the police. Currently, the entire world is talking about the misuse of children for s*x. Police must deal with every missing case strictly”

This is why we’ll continue to support .seva.samsthe and all the wonderful work it does in the fight against human trafficking and s*xual slavery.

Huge thank you to for hosting such a wonderful fundraiser recently in support of Yoga Stops Traffick 💛

Together, an incredible £420 was raised, with all proceeds going to the in Mysore, India. Every penny helping to support trafficked women and children as they rebuild their lives with safety and dignity.
