OBMT: Oxford Brookes Musical Theatre Society Society and Committee of the year 2023🏆 We are also the oldest society at Brookes! Like our page to stay up to date with all things Players!

We are the Oxford Brookes Musical Theatre Society and we perform at local venues throughout the year and put on a musical in the second Semester. We won Best Society 2012-2013 for a stellar performance of RENT the Musical in Spring 2013 and we have stellar write-ups for our sell-out production of Spring Awakening in February 2014. t-musical-sells-out.html ) In February 2015 Fortune Players performed Footloose to sold out crowds with a bang, being the first society to perform in the new University building. Since then The FP have performed the incredible Rock of Ages in 2016 and Most Recently The Wedding singer in February 2017, three sold out performances and what we hope to win Best Soceity Event this year at the SU awards! What with our high standards, we're committed to maintaining the standard throughout the years, with the 2017/18 committee all set and ready to go, stay tuned for 2017/18 audition and show announcements!
