🎉 The Summer Holidays Start Here! ☀️📚✒️

This Saturday marks the first day of the school summer holidays in the UK – so why not start them with something creative, inspiring and completely FREE?

Join us at Westgate Shopping Centre for a unique family workshop in partnership with Ossolineum, one of Poland's oldest and most prestigious cultural institutions.

Step back in time and discover how people wrote, decorated and created beautiful books hundreds of years ago.

🪶 Writing with traditional quill pens (ages 12+)
Learn to write with a real feather quill and ink – a skill that will make you appreciate how every letter was once a work of art. Perhaps you'll even use it to write your own holiday postcard!

📖 Decorating historical book borders (ages 5+)
Create colourful medieval-style decorations and discover the beauty of illuminated manuscripts.

🎨 Colouring illustrations from Ossolineum books (all ages)
Perfect for younger children and anyone who simply loves to colour and be creative.

📍 Westgate Shopping Centre – Lower Ground, opposite the LOGO store
📅 Saturday, 18 July 2026
🕚 11:00–17:00

✨ Drop in at any time – no booking required.

Start the summer holidays with creativity, history and imagination. We can't wait to welcome you!
