*Lady Fatimah, Chieftess of the Women of Paradise*

*TUESDAY 20th October*

*7pm*

Cheney School, *L1 Common Room opposite the Gym* , Brookes Entrance, Gipsy Lane, Oxford, OX3 0BP

Drawing inspiration from Abdur-Rahman ibn ‘Ali ibn Jafar al-Jawzi, born in Baghdad around 1114 CE, his biographical work, *Sifat al-Safwa* (Characteristics of the Righteous), we will build upon and continue our previous discussions about the Prophet’s life ﷺ.

Each session will highlight the life of an esteemed female companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Together, we will explore their virtues, struggles, and the significant impact they had on the early Muslim community.

Through thoughtful discussion and reflection, we will uncover deeper insights into the Prophetic life and the exemplary qualities that defined these righteous individuals.

These sessions present an excellent opportunity to connect with others as we deepen our understanding and appreciation of our rich heritage.

Please share and encourage your friends and family members to attend!

*This evening, 7pm, Cheney School, Headington*

In today's fast-paced world, finding nourishing environments for ourselves and our families can be a real challenge.

Balancing classes and the pursuit of sacred knowledge often leaves limited time, and forging new friendships or community can be just as challenging.

Many of us struggle with loneliness and a desire for spiritual fulfilment.

That’s why the Gardens of Paradise gatherings on Saturday evenings are so special; they’re a heartfelt initiative by Wilaya Trust to foster genuine community.

We eagerly await your presence this evening, insha Allah.

🌟 Could your young person be a future changemaker? 🌟

Alhamdulillah, we’ve had a fantastic start to this year’s Youth Leadership Programme, with our students coming together for a day of orientation, team-building and setting expectations for the year ahead.

It was inspiring to see young people stepping outside their comfort zones, building confidence, supporting one another and beginning to form positive friendships and a strong sense of cohort spirit. 🤝

The Youth Leadership Programme is about more than leadership. It’s about helping young people develop:

🌱 Confidence & personal growth
📚 Knowledge & understanding
🗣️ Communication & teamwork
🤝 Friendships & positive relationships
💡 Leadership & initiative
🌍 Purpose & community spirit

Over the course of the programme, we hope to nurture young people who are confident in themselves, supportive of others and ready to make a positive contribution to their communities.

💫 September 2027 could be the start of their journey.

If you know a young person who would benefit from an experience that challenges, develops and inspires them, we’d love to hear from you.

👉 Discover more and register your interest for September 2027:
🌐 youthleadership.uk

Please share this with a parent, young person or family who you think would benefit from the programme.

May Allah make this a year of growth, knowledge, friendship, confidence and purpose for all our future changemakers. Ameen. 🤲
