DefendHER is open to young women in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 aged 11–16. The project is designed to create a supportive and welcoming space where young women can build confidence, connect with their peers, explore movement and develop practical skills.

We are particularly keen to reach young women who may not always see themselves represented in sport, dance or physical activity spaces, or who would benefit from an opportunity to grow their self-belief, try something new and feel comfortable being themselves in a supportive environment

DefendHER: Move Strong. Feel Powerful. Belong.

Through a series of engaging activities and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to build confidence in their bodies, support their wellbeing, develop practical skills and connect with other young women in their community.
