🪢Pioneering fun in the sun! 🪢

Girls from units in Abingdon division enjoyed a day in the sun creating a bridge with the pioneering team! Read more below.

"We had a fantastic day with the Oxfordshire pioneering team. The brownies and guides built the bridge; rainbows enjoyed some games, the adventure course, and the finished bridge. We finished with a campfire and smores. Units attending were Kennington Thames rainbows, 3rd Kennington brownies, peachcroft brownies, 1st Kennington guides, and Long Hanborough guides. So thankful for the weather!"

Are you up to date with your Safer Guiding?

💙Girlguiding Celebrates 💙
On Saturday some of our members were invited to attend the Girlguiding Celebrates event at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square.

Congratulations to all the award recipients and nominees, and thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to create amazing opportunities and unforgettable experiences for girls every week. 💙

✨ What a fantastic way to round off Volunteers Week! ✨

This afternoon, three members of our leadership team were delighted to attend the Girlguiding Celebrates event at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square.

Angela (right) received a Chief Guide's nomination as recognition and thanks for the incredible contribution she makes to Girlguiding. Her dedication, support and hard work have made a difference to so many girls and volunteers over the years.

Rhiannon (left) attended in celebration of achieving her Queen's Guide Award – Girlguiding's highest award for young adults. Earning the award takes a huge amount of commitment, perseverance, organisation and determination, making it a truly special achievement.

Sam (middle), a unit helper alongside Rhiannon, attended as her guest and enjoyed being part of the celebrations.

They all had a wonderful afternoon celebrating the achievements of volunteers from across the UK. Congratulations to all the award recipients and nominees, and thank you to every volunteer who gives their time to create amazing opportunities and unforgettable experiences for girls every week. 💙
