Sustainable Wheatley New members and ideas welcome.

We are a group of local residents who run projects and events in the village such as Swap Shops, Litter Picking, Fruit Harvesting, Great Big Green Week, and monitoring the River Thame.

This was a small part of last year's bumper apple crop. Sadly, the harvest this year is very poor. All of the apples we have picked this year will be distributed outside the shops in the village, and there will not be any left to press into juice, so we have CANCELLED the Apple Pressing Day that was due to take place on Saturday October 17th.

Thank you to everybody who came to, and helped at the Swap Shop on Saturday. We had 137 people through the door and between them, they left with 694 kg of things. The next swap shop will be on Saturday January 23rd 2027.
