Research shows that increasing breastfeeding rates could help reduce common childhood illnesses, such as ear, chest and tummy infections, while also saving the NHS up to £50 million each year.

Feeding support in your language 💛

If English isn’t your first language, finding feeding information that is clear and easy to understand can make all the difference.

There are lots of free resources available to help parents and carers access feeding support in different languages:

🌍 UNICEF Baby Friendly foreign language resources – information on breastfeeding in a range of languages.

🎥 Global Health Media videos – simple, visual breastfeeding videos available in multiple languages.

🤝 At HENRY, we work in partnership with DALS Language Interpreting Service to help families access support in the language that works best for them.

One of our valued team members is moving on, and we’re seeking an experienced Service Manager to continue leading our family support services in Waltham Forest and oversee delivery in Hertfordshire.

This role is central to ensuring parents and carers have access to high-quality support around Infant Feeding, Healthy Lifestyles, Oral Health and Wellbeing through Waltham Forest’s Family Hubs.

We’re looking for someone who brings:
✅ Strong leadership and team management experience
✅ A collaborative approach to partnership working

Hours: 30 per week (0.8 FTE)

✔ Strong leadership and collaboration skills
✔ Commitment to improving outcomes for families

Hours: 30 per week (0.8 FTE)

Location: Hybrid – Waltham Forest and home
