📣 Open call for papers for the Journal of Microscopy mmc2025 special issue!

The special issue will be guest edited by the Journal’s General Editor Professor Michelle Peckham, Deputy Editor Professor Pete Nellist and our team of Scientific Editors.

We welcome submissions for this issue and we recommend that contributions adopt the ‘Rapid Publication’ style, with:
- no more than 20 references
- no more than 3 figures
- no more than 3000 words (including references)

The deadline for submissions is 1 March 2026.

📣 The January 2026 issue of the Journal of Microscopy is now available to view online!

The issue features special issue papers from the Tip-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS9) meeting, plus a rapid publication and three original articles.

TERS9 papers:
